About the Role:
Join MedPOINT Management as an Inpatient Coordinator II, where you'll play a vital role in patient care and coordination. We're seeking a dedicated professional to streamline inpatient processes and enhance patient experiences in our Sherman Oaks, CA location.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inpatient admissions and discharges to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and address any issues that arise during their stay.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and services.
- Assist in the management of inpatient resources and scheduling.
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to ensure quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient coordination or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to patient advocacy.
